Parenting styles and socio-emotional development of students at the I.E. Santísima Trinidad in 2024

The study aimed to determine the influence of parenting styles on the socio-emotional development of students at the Santísima Trinidad Educational Institution in 2024. It was a census study, the population was made up of 36 students. The variables under study were: parenting styles and socio-emotional development. Frequency analysis, statistics and Somers' D coefficient were used to contrast hypotheses. It is concluded that of the three parenting models evaluated, the democratic one is the only one that significantly influences the socio-emotional development of students at the Santísima Trinidad Educational Institution in 2024.
