Abstract

This essay deals with the vindication of Andean indigenous culture and the denunciation of social inequalities through the literary work of José María Arguedas. It aims to highlight José María Arguedas' commitment to the defense and vindication of Andean indigenous culture. It concludes that José María Arguedas, through his literary work and his deep commitment to Andean culture, has established himself as a key voice in the defense of indigenous communities, fighting against inequality and promoting the appreciation of cultural traditions as an invaluable wealth for Peru and the world.
