ESTILOS DE CRIANZA Y DESARROLLO SOCIOEMOCIONAL EN ESTUDIANTES DE SECUNDARIA DE LA I.E. 787 ALMIRANTE MIGUEL GRAU

Abstract

The study had the objective of determining the influence of parenting styles on the socio-emotional development of students at the Miguel Grau Educational Institution in 2023. The sample was made up of 182 secondary education students at the I. E. Miguel Grau in 2023. The survey data collection technique was used and two questionnaires were used as an instrument. The variables under study were: parenting styles and socio-emotional development. Frequency analysis and Somers' D coefficient were used. It is concluded that only the democratic parenting style significantly influences (sig.= 0.001) the socio-emotional development of I.E. students. Miguel Grau in 2023, at a level of 19.2%.
