Prevention and conditions during the rainfall season in the Tomas-Yauyos district, 2025

Abstract

The objective of the study was to understand how residents of Tomas prepare for the rainy season and how it affects the district. The sample consisted of 34 secondary school students from the Santísima Trinidad High School in 2025. The technique used was a survey and the instrument was a questionnaire. Key statistical findings showed that 15% and 50% of residents in Tomas practiced poor and inadequate rain prevention, and 35% and 15% were severely and intensely affected by the rains. Finally, the study concludes that residents of Tomas practice inadequate rain prevention and are severely affected by the rainy season.
