REDONDOS

Abstract

The objective of the study was to show the relationship between art and mathematical knowledge through the creation of a mandala. For the creation, mathematical concepts such as geometric transformations, angles, straight lines and circles were taken into account, using constructions with rulers and compasses.  In conclusion, this work has allowed us to recognize that mathematical concepts can inspire us to create art and to recognize it in the nature around us.
