Abstract

The objective of the study was to express art through the construction of two-dimensional figures. Through the creation of a mandala, geometric transformations such as translation, rotation and reflection can be identified using the ruler and compass. In conclusion, mathematics and art are related in many ways. The work reflects how the imperfect can be sublime for many and how the simplest can be valuable for others.
