PREVENTION AND CONDITIONS OF THE LOW TEMPERATURE SEASON IN THE DISTRICT OF TOMAS - YAUYOS

Abstract

The objective of the study was to find out how the inhabitants of Tomas prevent themselves and how the frost and cold season affects the district of Tomas. The population is made up of 29 high school students from the Santísima Trinidad educational institution. The data collection technique of the survey was used and a questionnaire as an instrument. The variables under study were (1) prevention against frost/cold and (2) conditions caused by frost/cold. Frequency analysis was used at the variable and question level. It is concluded that the first hypothesis is true, since 79.3% of students state that they adequately prevent themselves against frost and cold; while the second hypothesis is false, since 68.9% of students consider that frost and cold affect the district of Tomas very slightly and mildly.
